About Me
Hi! I’m Sarah, and I absolutely love to cook. I love to cook so much that I work for a cooking magazine called Taste of Home. Cool, huh?
I grew up in the kitchen, helping my Mom put dinner on the table for our family of six. I’d stand on a kitchen chair and stir the pasta sauce or tear up lettuce for a salad, dreaming up my own recipes.
Now, I love to put together recipes in my small, yet surprisingly functional apartment. My friends come over for the occasional dinner party or game night where we all drink, laugh, and eat our way through some incredible dishes.
At work, I get to share my love of cooking on the Taste of Home Facebook and Twitter pages. I have a blast talking recipes with people who love to cook. Plus, I get to try some pretty incredible treats before they make it in the magazines!
Taste of Home is at heart a friendly exchange of family-favorite recipes handed down over generations and shared among loved ones. Taste of Home recipes are practical because they’re from home cooks—not gourmet chefs—and feature familiar, everyday ingredients; clear, beautiful photos; and easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions.
And because each is individually tested by culinary experts in our Test Kitchens, Taste of Home recipes are reliable; we guarantee that you can count on success each time you prepare one.
But more than simply offering recipes, Taste of Home fosters a strong and loyal sense of community among like-minded home cooks of all ages, who share food preparation secrets and tips, humorous and heartwarming anecdotes, and glimpses into their kitchens, their homes and their lives.
I hope you’ll join me as I document the fun, food happenings here at the Taste of Home headquarters, as well as my cooking escapades at home. So, grab your apron and your favorite wooden spoon – things are about to get tasty!
