Chicken Wings

Chicken wings. Buffalo wings. No matter what you call them, they’re a must on every guy’s “All-Time Favorite Foods” list, and a staple at every tailgate. This year alone, Americans will consume about 25 billion wings, 1.25 million on Super Bowl Sunday. That’s a whopping 100 million pounds, according to the National Chicken Council.

Hailing from Buffalo, New York, this messy culinary creation is dipped in sauce then baked, fried, or grilled. These addicting little hot wings are consumed by the basketful, dunked in ranch dressing, and devoured with gusto.

These drumettes have taken the American bar scene by storm, showing up on menus in a variety of heat levels and flavors. Boneless, sauceless, double-dipped, double-fried – it doesn’t matter. America loves their wings.

How do you like your chicken wings? Do you dip yours in ranch or blue cheese dressing?
