Pumpkin Pie. It’s a must at every Thanksgiving. It sits on the dessert table, drawing eyes from across the room. It’s crust golden brown and flaky, the custard rich and creamy. Sitting next to it is a bowl of sweet whipped cream.

Dessert is always the most anticipated part of the Thanksgiving feast. Sure, I love the turkey, stuffing, and potatoes, but there’s just something extra special about a slice of perfect pumpkin pie. Every year the buffet table is filled with 5 different versions of this classic treat – pumpkin apple, bourbon pumpkin, pumpkin streusel. The possibilities are just about endless. But for me, the classic is always best.

How do you like your pumpkin pie? Is there a classic recipe that you serve at your family table?
