When I was little I tried my hand at a lemonade stand. I used my favorite crayons to make colorful signs, boasting about my super sweet, super tangy lemonade. I taped my signs in front of a small table, with my clear pitcher of pale, yellow lemonade and a stack of paper cups. For hours I sat on my stool, the sun glinting off my pitcher, slowly melting the ice cubes. My only customer was my Dad. He came home early for lunch, and paid the required 10-cents for the classic summer beverage. He took a long sip, draining the cup in one gulp. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and smiled. It was the perfect day. I had a satisfied customer.
Lemonade is one of my favorite things to drink in the summer. It’s sweet, refreshing, and just tastes like a warm summer breeze. So, what better way to celebrate the end of the week than with an adult version of this summer tradition. Grab your biggest glass and head out to the patio. It’s time to indulge and toast to summer.

Generally I’m a fan of anything with the word “spiked” in its name, so I’m with you on this if you say so! Thanks, just in time for the weekend!
