Jambalaya

Mardi Gras is just a couple of weeks away, and I’m happy to say I’ve already caught the Louisiana fever.

While I’ve never had the opportunity to visit New Orleans for Mardi Gras, I have celebrated Fat Tuesday at Soulard in St. Louis. It may not be as big as the original, but I love wearing my brightly colored beads and indulging in sweet beignets and tucking into a bowl of hearty Jambalaya.

Full of juicy chicken, succulent shrimp, smoky sausage and sweet tomatoes, this Jambalaya recipe is sure to get you into the Mardi Gras spirit!

I was intrigued by the picture of a bar cookie the was the teaser for “love and Homemade Recipes” but I couldn’t find it inside the blog.
I’m not a blogger and maybe I didn’t know how to look. It appears to have a cookie base, peanuts and carmel topping.
Does the recipe have a name?
