We’re interrupting your regularly scheduled Super Bowl Week to bring you a delicious compilation of Snow Day Projects.

I just looked out my office window and snow is coming down – hard. According to the weatherman we’re supposed to get up to 21 inches of the white stuff between today and Wednesday. I should also mention that we’re under a Blizzard Watch. Fabulous.

Watching the snow fall got me thinking about fun snow day projects my Mom would set up for my sisters and me.  From snow ice cream to warm oatmeal cookies, there was always some tasty activity to participate in.

With inclement weather heading towards the Midwest and New England, I thought I’d put together some fun projects that were made for snow days. Enjoy!

Homemade Marshmallows – After a day playing in the snow, warm up with a steaming cup of hot chocolate and these pillow like marshmallows.

Some great recipe ideas here! I’ve always enjoyed making homemade marshmallows and that Ragu Bolognese is perfect to chase away the cold. These should keep everyone busy while the snow comes and goes. I can sympathize (almost) as we had a round of snow and ice here in north Georgia just a few weeks ago.
