Everyone, I’d like to introduce you to Charley Cooke, she’s an avid love of Taste of Home. She recently attended the Cooking School show in Grants Pass, Oregon and wanted to share with all of you her story. Enjoy!
As a long time reader and subscriber of Taste of Home magazine, I can’t let a cooking school go by without making sure that I am there. Last night, the Taste of Home Cooking School came to Grants Pass, Oregon, and I’m so excited to be able to show you all fun!

First, we hit the vendor area to sample all of the delicious foods. As you can see, it was a popular destination!

The auditorium was packed. This was about 45 minutes before the show was set to start. Look at all those anxiously awaiting people!

We got our seat pretty close to the front and spent quite a bit of time checking out all of the prizes. There were so many, but I really had my eye on that picnic tote right there in the front. Although, I wouldn’t have turned down one of those bags of groceries either!

Everyone was so excited when Kristi Larson, our Culinary Specialist for the night, came out to start her demonstrations. She is so much fun, I have seen her here several times and she makes the night fly by! Plus, she is full of really helpful and useful tips-those are always great to pick up!

In between cooking, our MC gave away prizes- can you tell she was excited?

Here are all of the people going down to grab their winnings; sadly I was not in this group.

I had to grab a new Taste of Home cookbook for my collection on the way out.

It was such a fun, energetic time. See you there next year!
