Welcome to Lunch Box week! This week I’ll be focusing on how to spruce up that lunch box with yummy sandwiches, tasty treats, and quick snacks. I hope you’re ready because there’s going to be a lot of delicious lunch inspiration.
To start things off, I’d like to talk wraps. I’m normally a sandwich girl, but every once in a while I like to “shake things up” with a wrap. Only, most of the time I’m just putting my normal sandwich in a tortilla and calling it a day. Turkey and mustard can be a little bland in a flour tortilla.
Which is where these quick wraps from Simple and Delicious come in handy. With as much as I love to cook, I sometimes forget how much fun you can have with something like a wrap.
Have some leftover bacon from breakfast? Pair it with some sliced tomatoes, crisp lettuce and creamy avocado for a Zippy BLT Wrap.
I love the idea of rolling up some coleslaw and roast beef in soft flatbread for this Roast Beef Roll-ups recipe. You can also take this recipe and “reubenize” it with some corned beef, sauerkraut, caraway seeds, and Thousand Island dressing.
Perfect hot or cold, I love this easy Chicken Wrap. Instead of plain grilled chicken, this recipe calls for breaded chicken tenders, ripe olives and pepper jack cheese.
If you’re looking for something meatless then try these Asian Meatless Wraps. It’s a fun way to enjoy veggie chicken patties.
So the next time you’re putting lunch together ask yourself, “Can I wrap it up?”
