Barbecued Ribs

I can’t believe it. We’re well into the last and final week of August, and summer is almost over.  Labor Day is in two weeks, which for many marks the end of warm weather, lazy afternoons by the pool, and delicious summer eats. So, I think we should send out everyone’s favorite season in juicy, saucy, napkin required style.

Yep, that’s right folks.  I’m talking ribs. You just can’t celebrate summer unless you’re chowing down on this succulent summer staple.

"Secret's in the Sauce" BBQ Ribs

It really doesn’t matter how you make them – on the grill or in a slow cooker – just as long as they’re smothered in a rich, tangy BBQ sauce.  None of those dry ribs for me. I want the sauce all over my fingers as I strip the bones clean. I also love family photos of my little cousins with BBQ sauce all over their smiling faces. Classic.

So, ribs on Labor Day. It’s the only way to give summer the proper send off she deserves.
