There’s nothing better than enjoying summer with a bonfire and s’mores. You and your friends sitting around the fire, marshmallow sticks in one hand and a frosty beverage in the other – yep, it’s summer perfection.
I came across this camping blog post the other day, and was inspired to switch things up with my s’mores. Sure, I like the traditional graham cracker, chocolate, marshmallow combo, but I’m always open to new variations. Luckily, my friends and I are planning a bonfire for this weekend. Can’t wait to try out some of these new s’more creations!

If you’re thinking about foregoing the traditional sandwich s’more, may I suggest this tasty Pot of S’mores. Made in a Dutch Oven, your favorite s’more ingredients are melted together for one gooey treat.

In my family, we call these “Ultimate S’mores”. Here at Taste of Home, we call them Peanut Butter S’mores. I’m going to be honest, these s’mores are so rich, you’ll only be able to eat just one. Use two soft chocolate chip cookies instead of graham crackers and switch out the chocolate for a peanut butter cup – be sure to have the milk handy!

If for some strange reason you can’t roast your own marshmallows at your next bonfire, but you still want that classic s’more taste, may I suggest these easy S’more Bars. A crisp graham cracker crust is topped with melted chocolate and sticky marshmallows for a campfire worthy treat.
