Pickles. Pickles, pickles, pickles. Crunchy, dilly, pickles. I’ve always wanted to make my own. But I’ve been afraid of the whole canning and pickling movement. It just seems too involved and there are lots of jars and boiling water. Scary.
But, I think one of the Taste of Home’s Twitter followers has changed my mind. When I asked the Twitterverse if they’d ever made homemade pickles before, one of our followers sent me the recipe for Refrigerator Dill Pickles. Talk about easy.
Yes, there’s boiling water. And yes, things need to be poured and transferred into jars. But this recipe is just so simple – dare I say it’s fool proof! These pickles are tangy, zesty and crispy. They’re perfect with cheesburgers, deli sandwiches, and by themselves.
